Convert avi and other video files to iso??

How do I convert avi or any other video file to an ISO?? What program do I use? Can you possibly provide me with a link to download the program. Thanks in advance.

I have clips of my home videos I made and want to put it on a DVD. For some reason I tried to put it on a DVD and didn't work. Someone told me I needed to make it a ISO file, a file of an image or something like that they said. I am new at this stuff.

turning avi into image files/iso will not make them dvd compliant to be able to play them on your dvd player

you will have to convert the avis to dvd compliant material

there are numerous tools to convert the avis but you will have to consider that any conversion will take you quite some time

thus the questions: how many avis/minutes will you have to convert?

First, convert AVI to VOB, then use IfoEdit to create IFO and BUP
