imgburn writes to CDs

ImgBurn is a lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application that everyone should have in their toolkit... and it's free!

            Hi Wojo,

I like to use Nero, as soup mentioned, but Windows Media Player will burn mp3s for you; it is free & probably already be installed on your pc.

            regards, katz

I like Nero because it writes CD Text, so it shows up on the car's CD palyer as 'Title : Artist' instead of just 'Track 00x'.

MusicMatch Plus does it for me.

ANY audible sound source to line-in sound card on the computer, to MusicMatch Plus library at MP3 format (at 128kbps) then burn to audible
CD-R disk or audible DVD disk. Many sound enhancements like volumn leveling.

Also freeware MP3 editing tool (audible cutting) called MP3 DIRECT CUT.

MP3 format audible CD-R plays great in the automobile.

I used to use pyro by cake walk NOT free I know use nero the results are the same.

the only thing that I use pyro now is to convert .wav to .mp3

Nero works just fine for music cd's it will convert an mp3 to a wav file for you. easy to use.

I have recently been recommended MP3Gain by members of this forum for volume leveling. It seems to work better than anything I have used in the past, & is free!

                        regards, katz
