If the dvd plays in your computer but is all screwy in your dvd player, it's because you started with a PAL iso.

      google is your friend

Never heard of DVDS making transforming a color pic to B&W....where in the world are you? You say wrong region which might be the case, but the real problem might be frame rate...PAL vs. NTSC.

I guess not in either case...I prefer DVD Flick or ConvertX and I am surely a simpleton.

I know that its the PAL/NTSC causing the problem......but is there any way to fix it? I have a feeling by looking at google there seems to be a few prog. out there (blaze). Have any suggestions?

I've done a few avi's from PAL to NTSC with no problem...however, Nero and ConvertX choked and DVD Flick chugged right through them. The result was flawless IMHO.
