DVD ripping problems, please help

Ok, I am tryin to rip VOB files. I have tried both CladDVD 1.71 and Smartripper, in Win2K Advanced Server. Smartripper freezes, while CladDVD will appear to lock up, but if I let it sit it resumes and will have ripped a 4k file, rather then the 1.5 gig it should have. Do these ripping programs work in Win 2K? Or do I need to install some other drivers and dll's? If I boot into Win98 both work fine without any problems, but I would like to keep to my 2K side...

Hi, try going to the homepages of either or both of these programs and check out what updates or versons are recommended for Win2K

there's no such thing as a homepage for smartripper.

the latest version is 2.40 and can be found on my page.
