Hi everyone. I have some newbie questions that I was wondering if you guys can solve for me.

How do I combine 2 video files into one?

How do I convert avi files into divx file?

Provided the DivX files are of the same resolution and compressed with the same type of DivX codec (3.11, 4.x OR 5.x), you can use Virtual/nandub to do the job.

Open the first video in Virtual/nandub. Set the video and audio tab to Direct Stream Copy. Then, File -> Append AVI Segment and open the next video file. Finally, File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new file.

You do understand that DivX is a method of compressing .AVI files, don't you? If you have a file that has a .AVI extender, it may already be DivX-compressed...

I've been wondering about that for a long time too, but the answer has always been a constant 'No.' Let me know when such software (that can improve quality of a given ivideo) is available.
