which program should I use to halve 700MB movie on two 350MB parts?

For AVI files, Virtualdub or Nandub will do the job. For .MPG files, TMPGEnc is the one to use.

I've tried using TMPGEnc to cut a 1GB mpg file (as I need to fit it onto a CD) but although I set the cut markers at around half it cuts at 200 seconds or so???

Any ideas Enchanter??
