hi everybody .i am a new member here.i am facing aproblem opening a mpeg file. i have tried many player but that will not open. the message displayed by wmp is that either the file is corrupt or the player doesnot support this foemat. i then tried gspot codec finder the to find the codecs if it required somethin but still it couldnot open it. . what i think that file is encoded or something. please help me with this i need these file badly for my project.

have you tried FFDSHOW as universal playback filter - i recommend you installed this and doublecheck with your file

next thing is: could your file be damaged/corrupted?
