links for complete newbie?

Hi!

I'm looking to learn more about video production. I read the sticky "Beginners Start Here" but a lot of that information was still over my head. (I also did a google and about.com search, but there's just so much information.)

Does anybody have links to materials that are even easier to understand?

Welcome. Also check out the Main Site that's linked above. If you can't find a guide/FAQ/post there regarding almost everything digital video I would just easy does it and not try to do too much. You'll get there. I did and I still can't type really!

What doom9 has become something other than a DVD rip off site? And yes if he's into video production I'm not sure this forum is active enuff for him. I see more about codecs and conversions here, little about production.
