    Dvd shrink 3.2

I copied a DVD (Avatar) and have produced an NTI ISO file that is 6.84 GB in size. Too big to copy to a DVD. I have used DVD Shrink to shrink this DVD and have produced an NTI ISO file that is 4.35 GB in size. Two attempts at producing a DVD have failed. The first shows a total capacity of 4.38 GB and a used space of 1.46 GB. Opening this disk shows nothing. The second has a folder called VIDEO_TS which when double clicked reveals a file called AVATAR with the notation file type as Disk Image File. This is entitled AVATAR.ISO. It would seem that I have managed to copy the ISO file as is. It will not play on either the computer or DVD player. Help! what have I done wrong.
