Hi all,
I have a DivX file (715Mb) that seems to have VBR audio. When I load the file in VirtualDub, I get the message attached in the .jpg below.
I also included the file info from VirtualDub.
So, if I try to convert to VCD directly with TMPGENC, I get no audio. I then tried to extract the audio track to .wav with VirtualDub. This gave me a 1.25Gb file. I also extracted a silent .avi file (580Mb). I tried those two in TMPGENC and I get a file with no audio. Next, I tried Multiplexing this .mpg file with the .wav file and TMPGENC tells me that "Multiplexing linear PCM stream to system stream is not supported". Ok, now I converted the .wav to .mp3 and tried to multiplex that. That worked BUT, I end up with a 1 Gb VCD file... That is to big to fit on one CD-R.
My question is: Did I do everything right and if I did, how do I get that 1Gb file down to 700Mb?
