audio error

I used DVD2AVI for creating a d2v file and a wave file from vob files. I'm trying to use TMPGEnc for encoding into MPG. When I start a conversion, immediately I get an error 'An error occured while audio was decoded'. In fact the wave file is perfectly fine when I play it. And the same wave file was working perfectly fine before... Anybody have any idea what is wrong and how to fix it...

have you tried downsampling your audio to 44.1khz before feeding it to tmpeg?
