No sound when trying to encode VCD from avi-file.

    thanks for filling this thread with good posts!!!

    i had a huge problem myself.....
    goes as follows...
    had an avi (good quality, too)
    converted it to vcd format in tmpgenc (2.52)

    no sound on output...
    followed your advice, ripping the wave file in virtualdub, and entering it manually....
    threw the whole bunch into tmpgenc
    pressed start, and....
    bob's your uncle....

    now, i'm faced with another problem

    when i toast my vcd, and put in my stand alone machine, the video studders.... but that's a whole diff prob....
    i'll find the fix in another thread...

    just wanted to say thanks for your info....
