Hi!
I asked this questin in another thread, but maybe the chance to be read is better in a seperate thread.
All my svcds run out of sync! This happens very slowly- really visible after about 35 minutes, but in the end of the movie the video stream is abuot 70 to 200 ms ahead or the audio delayed. This is driving me nuts!! Played on the pc there is no problem at all- just in the standalone!
I use variable bitrate mpeg2 videostreams and ordinary stereo (two channel) mpeg1 encoded audio at 256kb/s.
The movie is in pal format: 25 fps
To compress the video i use cinemacraft encoder and tmpgenc plus for the audio.
I multiplex the streams using tmpgenc plus mpeg tools - multiplex : svcd vbr.
Both, the resulting programstream and the burned svcd play fine in powerdvd.
I use the newest version of nero to toast them on cd-r.
I hope anyone has got a solution...
thx-
