Hi hi I have this DivX 3.11 MPEG-3 audio AVI file that I want to split into several parts. All of the guides say that it's best to split only on keyframes, or there is a risk of corruption, etc, right? However I want to cut the file in places that are not a keyframe. I have tried this, and it doesn't cause any playback problems, at least on my PC.
So my question is, would there be any possibility of the new files giving playback problems on other PCs, given that they run fine on mine? Also, how important is it that I cut a file on a keyframe? Is this just to avoid "possible" problems? Or did I just get lucky this one time? Thx ...
