how big was your final output file?
            must be less than 700mb.

i guess we sorted the wrong setting within GK out now.

repeat your transcoding and your avis should look fine now.

Getting the Higest quality for divx with flaskmpeg

                        Hi ,

I am new at this, i am using flaskmpeg for my divx movies.
The most inportend question that i have is, what settings must i select to get the higest quailty possible for my divx movie?

Also when i complete a movie, i see that the movie is much smaller than the original movie (16:9). Even when i have selected 720x576. I use my tv-out to view te movie on my tv. How can i get the same size as the original DVD.?

When flaskmpeg is busy with my movie, i see a setting called "priority settings" What does this mean?

When i must select a codec for my movie i can select serveral divx codes 3.11 and 5.02. divx codec 3.11 have 2 options called "high and low" what does this mean, and what is the best?

I have seen many posts here on this forum, and in several of then they speak about a 2 pass. What is this?

And my last question is, when i make a mpeg2 file the movie is very good, only when the camera turns for left 2 right i see little blocks, and it is not sharp anymore. But when the camera stops the picture then is good and sharp again. Does it really matter what program you use for making a divx or mpeg2 file?

                        Hope some have the answers...

                        thanks! William

                          imho: absolutely!

try a 2 pass routine with gordianknot026b and divx5 and you'll be amazed.

take a look at my guide, if you want details.
