    Div-X Not Compressing

I am having probs with the lates DivX Pro as far as Compression goes. Sure it can render footage together quite nicely in Premiere 6....But 7MB for 8 Seconds of footage (no matter what I set the KB per second to) for example isn't really acceptable.

Is there another option in DivX I can use or is my copy just plain faulty. DivX has never given this trouble before.

Any tips you guys? Thanks for reading

what are your methods of compressing it or encoding it??

Have you tried to re-install the DIVX codec? What encoder did you use? please tell us everything, including the DIVX codec version.

everytime you encode into a DIVX file, the file size varies, ALL the time because of the scene/motion etc.. etc..

    Thanks
