Problem:
Encoding with Gknot with a 2CD file size the end product is always hazy. Not blocky like other programs i have used. For example around a person there is almost like a halo that surrounds them. And a blue sky is hazy like it is swimming kinda, and yes i am using the sharp feature in Gknot.
My solution lies in creating the DVD2AVI project properly i think but the guide here is for PAL and the guide at doom is missing some fields. For instance this is what happens when i try to create a DVD2AVI Project:
Aspect Ratio 4:3
Frame Rate 29.970 fps (NTSC right?)
Video Type alternates between NTSC and Film with the % changing by the minute! It starts out NTSC 35% & Film 65%. After waiting for about 10 minutes it seems to stabalize at Film 94%. Should i force film or just pick none and select the IVTC option in GKNOt later?
Essentially i am looking for proper settings for DVD2AVI, for the above requirments, is there a guide somewhere for creating a DVD2AVI project for NTSC Film 94%?
By the way i have experimented, using the pal guide here results in no error messages and a hazy movie in the end, using the doom guide results in a error when i try to open the DVD2AVI project i Gknot.
