I encoded Conair using Nandub and Divx3.11alpha and it had some weird trailing effects, not blurry pixelated squares, but you'll see in the picture.
SOmeone over at the doom9 form said it had to to with light spots in the divx codec and that there was no hack for nandub to alter that.
It sparked an idea in my head and I allowed for luma correction which just made it brighter which is fine, and there was another option that put more bits into lighter parts of the movie.
I had an instance of this trailing effect when the plane was taking off, but when I re encoded with these new settings it was gone
So I watched the movie, but it happens again at this scene
Oops, my icq number is viewable , well you can ICQ me too if you'd like
Thanks for all the help
BTW Are those macroblocks or what?
The quality of the movie is great, there is no complaints about that,. but those blocks are bugging me. What am I doing wrong, or is there a filter I must set?
