    Nundub and Vdub problem

I use Nundub to convert my captured videos (MPEG1) to Divx. I try to use divx5.02 (progainbundle) and nundub says i'm using hacked codec, but vdub don't. when i start dub, nandub dont copress the video but vdub does. What can I do? I've already instaled the codec again(and again, and again...)

    Tnx

Is there a way to fine adjust VDub like Nundub SBC options?

What SPECIFIC settings do you have to/want to adjust?

          NO, you cant!

SBC is an exclusive feature of nandub

you cou, however, use vd with divx5 and use the codecs features which will result in a similar routine as nandub would.

i consider the combo vd+divx5 better than nandub+divx3

In NANDUB smooth, clear and small video file is easy to create, but I ain't able to do it in VDub. I know this is a combination of many settings and probably there is a nice material about it. Do you Know any GOOD Howto or guide that I can use at all? I already readed some guides that couldin't satisfy my expectatives.

            Tnx,

in case you want to use vd to accomplish 2 passes, you would have to calculate bitrate, make your cropping and resizing and all other setting manually which might be a hard task if you're new to this.

guides on this should be available at doom9.org

i would, however, go a slightly different way!

since gordianknot is hardly able to process AVI-input my tool of choice would be DVX

i have used this nifty tool quite a lot recently and appreciate all the time and effort DOLEMITE has put into it (especially implementing features we have talked about and improving some handling aspects).

DVX is not only for creating avi from vob input files, but it also accepts AVI/DVB input

you should definitely give it a try since it moreover offers easy access to filters like lanczos resizer or convolution!

.NET is required for running this tool, however!
