resizing

Hi,

What is the best program/filter to resize (mainly to shrink) and keep quality? I encountered a good resize in dvd2avi 1.86 (ogo) but I have problems to encode with 2pass most of the times crash mainly with large vobs. Besides Virtualdub and flaskmpeg bicubic filters generate a crispness video but noisy too and bilinear in these programs are not as good as dvd2avi filter.

Lanczos Resizer is my first choice

Well, thanks but I cannot see any different between lanczos and bilinear, in fact I get more artifacts with this filter.
