-0.6 is less sharp than -1.0

and lanczos isnt that hard to use.

make sure to have the lanczos.dll in your avisynth folder and then your avs could look like this:

MPEG2Source("z:\lotr\lotr.d2v")
Crop(4,76,-4,-76)
Convolution3d(0,3,4,3,4,2,0)
LanczosResize(704,272)

the values after lanczos are your desired resolution, which you will have to type in yourself using for example the settings you used in gordianknot

But for now I only proccesed the video i'll do the sound later. If I use 2 audiostreams on it with nandub (like 1 ac3 and 1 mp3) how can I play the file then? Do I need a special player or something?

And if a place subtitle file(s) in the same map/cd as my movie.avi with wich player you think I have to play it?

Install the Morgan Stream Switcher into your system. That will enable you to alternate between sound streams.

You need to install Vobsub and subsequently enable DirectVobsub (so it will load the subtitle file into the AVI you are playing).

i use SRT as a subtitle format

SRT will be played just fine by BSPlayer or using FFDSHOW for example!

I did try both things

Morgan Stream Switcher

I installed it and also Windows Media Player 9.

But when I open the movie in media player the program craches.
I did do everything like on the website but it does not work.

Plays wel with DirectVobSub

But since it is possible with morgan stream switcher to do sound and subtitles I would like to now what I do wrong with it because windows craches?

After installing Morgan SW for the 3rd time is does work don't ask me why I don't know
