Can we add logos to DivX movies?

I have a promotional copy of an old movie that I'd like to convert to DivX, unfortunately the original has a small digital clock running constantly in the top left corner.

During encoding is it possible to cover this clock up with a logo, similar to the logos you see on some tv channels?

There are filters available for Nanbdub for adding subtitles, could these perhaps be adapted to add a logo instead?
