i already had latest .net, and divx 5.02 pro, i installed syspack, then dvxpack. dvx didn't know where ds.jar nor pvas was, so i downloaded those, stuck them in the syspack directory and told dvx where they were. i ripped the dvd using dvx, it automatically opened dvd2avi. i chose to save as og, i clicked the ogg audio option, clicked config for the audio, clicked play and got an error that the process couldn't be started. still from within the aduio config buttion, i clicked run, and the besweet command line window opened, said initializing, then i got an error saying besweet encountered an error and had to close. this is the same thing that happens to me if i don't click "play" or "run" in the audio config, and just try to encode the divx/ogg file. when it comes time to run besweet, besweet bombs. any idead how to fix?

Try to uninstall DVX, and while you do that uninstall any other encoding programs too. Download .NET(because there is a suggested order to install everything). Reinstall everything in the following order: DVX Sys Pack -> Divx 5.02/3 pro -> .NET -> DVX-3.
I Also am unable to play the sound in DVX by pressing the play button in the CONFIG AUDIO. but I can encode fine (on 2 PC's) -
