Flaskmpeg encoding problem - freezing at the beginning

    Hello everybody~
i am using flaskmpeg to encode from ripped vob files. However, every clip i encoded freeze for a very brief while (e.g. a fraction of a second) at the beginning of the play back.
The encoding rate chart (the flow diagram at the bottom) shows that the rate starts normally but then suddenly dropped to nearly zero for a while and then resume normal rate again.
    How come this is happening?

    here is my settings:
    resolution: 640x480
    fps: 29.97
    Deinterlace, blend, threshold=20
    HQ bicubic filtering
    no audio

codec: i have tried a few: Microsoft Mpeg-4 VKI codec V1, V2, Divx pro 5.0.3,

CPU priority setting during encoding: normal

    Thx a lot!

Is this happening with playback from your harddrive BEFORE burning to CD-R, or only after burning?

oh.. that happens even before i burn it to the CD R
I ripped the vob file out which is still faultless at that time. '
But the Freezing happens after i have encoded it.

have you ever tried any other tool for converting your material?
