Audio Conversion problem (with Graphedit, vob2audio etc)

I am trying to extract the audio from the vob file.
However i do encounter some problem.
The format of the audio of the vob is LinearPCM.

I am trying to use graphedit to do the job. but i don't know which filter i should use.
I insert the Lingos mpeg splitter but it didn't give an audio output.

I have tried the VOB2audio. but it simply dont work. There nothing for me to choose in the audiostream part.

Is there anyway to deal with this problem?

    THX A LOT!!!!!!

vob2audio does NOT handle pcm wave.
only the special v2a_batch version is able to.

    the solution should be easier:

extract the sound via DVD2AVI and convert it to mp3 or ogg with BESWEET.

read the DVD2AVI part of my guide for the extraction:

and this guide is about BESWEET:

However i have heard that the audio extractin ability is not good in DVD2AVI and may result in decrease volume etc.
      Can graphedit do the job?

and where can the a2v special batch verion be found?

      THX!!!

whoever said so must be a noob or you're mixing something up here:

audio EXTRACTION means seperating the original ac3/pcm wave stream from the vob files.

this will be perfectly done by dvd2avi.
the resulting file will be absolutely the same as it would be using graphedit or vob2audio.

thus an extraction of the audio stream SHOULD be done with dvd2avi.

converting the outcoming file (be it ac3, pcm wave or whatever) should best be done with besweet.

i dont know who in his right mind (and decent experience) would tell you the opposite?

            just one last statement

DEMUXING (extracting the streams as they come) is absolutely fine with dvd2avi.

DECODING (transcoding e.g. ac3 to wave) should NOT be done with dvd2avi, since tools like besweet handle this much better.

but many people use the routine that dvd2avi extracts the audio (ac3 in most cases) and transcode these ac3 into the desired format (mp3 or better ogg vorbis), so rest asured that this way is excellent!

                Oh..hallo there is some problem.
In your guide, you have mentioned that there will be some audio stream produced after choosing save project option. Am i correct?

But after i have set the setting to Demux all tracks. Which is the only demux option found in DVD2AVI ver 1.77 in the part output method. Then after saving the project. no sound stream is produced.
Should it be that the sound stream will only be produced if i process the project in some other programme or did i miss sth?

                Thx
