I encoded a movie using DVD2AVI but when I play the movie the aspect ratio is stretched; The ratio should be 16:9 but its almost full screen when I play it, however when I play the movie using BS player I can change the aspect ratio to 16:9 but I dont want to use BS player because the movie I made is AC3 and I rather play the movie using WINDVD. So is there anyway I can change the movie to 16:9 without re-encoding it? Any help would be appreciated...

are you sure that the aspect ratio is actually wrong?
mayb it is just windvd that causes the trouble
zoomplayer might be worth a try for playback with ac3 (though other player should be able to give you decent audio as well)
