GordianKnot 0.28 Alpha 9

I just did my first rip and encode with Xvid on GK and it worrked great I ripped "Broken Arrow" which is a great movie and I got really great results.

You guys that want to try encoding Xvid but only use GordianKnot with DivX go download the new version at Doom9 and give her a try

i'm more than pleased with xvid/divx5 results which DVX gave me ever since it was released.

Oh yes don't get me wrong if I was to choose between the 2 I would choose DVX I just thought it was interesting that GK came out with Xvid support. I personally now just use DVX or GK to make my AVS file then I choose which codec I want manually with VDub

i simply wanted to point out that dvx provides outstanding support for divx 5.02/3/4 as well as xvid
