problem with ogm and subtitles

Hi men,
this post is to let you know my problem, please help: I've encoded (for a backup copy ) a dvd of mine... The software I'm using is DVDtoOGM...
I've ripped the dvd, encoded the video stream with divx 5.0.3 (without bilinear encoding), I've extracted the AC3 audio track (as first audio track in the ogm file) and then I've encoded another audio track in mp3 128 (as second one in the ogm file); I've also extracted all availables subtitles..., I've extracted chapters and included them in my project.
Here is the problem... When I try to see the backup copy of my movie I can read subtitles only in the first chapter, not in the others... Any suggestions?
I've tried many of the players available: TCMP, ViPlay, ZoomPlayer, mediaplayer...

Thanks a lot for the help, and sorry for my bad english

Are you sure that the selected *.srt contains all the Subs?

Open der *.srt with the Editor and check, if the file is ok.

Which subtitle-filter is installed? I would use VobSub-DS!

20
00:02:28,892 --> 00:02:31,281
The orders were for your protection.

21
00:02:32,732 --> 00:02:34,848
I think we can handle one little girl.

22
00:02:39,772 --> 00:02:41,444
I sent two units!

23
00:02:41,692 --> 00:02:43,205
They're bringing her down now!

24
00:02:43,452 --> 00:02:46,444
No, Lieutenant, your men
are already dead.

25
00:00:07,019 --> 00:00:07,815
****.

26
00:00:10,259 --> 00:00:12,534
Morpheus, the line was traced.
I don't know how.

27
00:00:12,779 --> 00:00:14,292
I know. They cut the hard line.

28
00:00:14,539 --> 00:00:16,609
There's no time.
Get to another exit.

29
00:00:16,859 --> 00:00:18,178
Are there any agents?

30
00:00:18,379 --> 00:00:19,175
Yes.

31
00:00:19,379 --> 00:00:20,494
Goddamn it.

The file is OK, and the filter installed is VobSub-DS...

maybe muxing video, audio and subtitles anew might be a good thing to do?!?

or did you actually mux yourself using vd_mod?

the muxing operation has ben automatically done by DVDtoOgm, I've also tried to demux all streams of the ogm file just created and re-mux with oggmux, but I've had another strange result... subtitles are not synchronized with video, they are too fast...
I don't understand
