    Subtitles in Gordian Knot

I have a problem in subtitles with Gordianknot during the process of configuring. On the panel it shows a red square. If a leave it that way (i can't change it anyway) the subtitles in avi are displayed in red frame.
Question. How can i get read of that?

I don't know the answer to your question since i don't work with subtitles in Gknot however since this board is so quiet on the subject of subtitles i thought i would add my two cents.

I use a program called Subrip to rip the subtitles of a DVD. It is easy to use. Also there is a great program called Subtitle Workshop which will do almost anything you desire with subtitles (except rip them).

If you can't resolve this through Gknot you may want to check out the above programs.

well, i personally dont wont permanent subs and therefore create SRT files which will then be included in the ogm container.

i used DVX for almost 3/4 of a year now to create my avis, then subrip for the subtitles in SRT format and virtualdubMOD for muxing audio, video, chapter and subtitles.

c.f. my DVX gide if you like (click the dvx button)
