kvcd to xvid

how do you guys convert your kvcds and vcds

i wouldnt even have one of those formats

since you already spoke of trying virtualdub, i wouldnt have another idea.

open the file in vd_MOD, set compression to divx/xvid and save as....

moreover, it has been pointed out that burning the Kvcd as NON-standard might help.
i didnt see any reply from you if you tried so or not.

well my dvd player doesnt support any from of vcd or svcd soo i wanted to convert it to divx or xvid so i could just watch it on my comp and when i try with vdub or vbub mod i get this mess. VirtualDub crash report -- build 15654 (release)

ok, since you dont even intend to play the content on your standalone what is the problem PLAYING the file(s) on your pc?

any softwareplayer like powerdvd or windvd or maybe zoomplayer or wmp should be able to play your file.

yeah i guess that what ill have to end up doing because it seems like there is no way to convert this weird format to xvid. i just was playing around trying to convert this weird format plus i would like to play all my media in one player instead of using powerdvd for one and windows media player for another.
