Does any one know of a capture program. I tried to use virtual dub then encode the file to divx, but it will only record on channel 4. I can't seem to find any way to change the channel. I also tried to use the program that came with my card but it the audio is always out of sync when i capture. Does any one have any other programs that do a good job besides virtual dub ?

maybe you make vd use tge desired program by switching to this channel with another tv application before.
e.g. the tv soft that came with your card or even tools like moretv.
now having selected the channel start vd in capture mode and see if it works.
another capture software could be AVI_IO

I changed the channel with my original tv tuner software. Then i opened virtual dub and it was still on channel 4. What tv tool would u recommend for ati video cards?Comment

i have no experience with an ati card
i used the original hauppauge soft or MORETV in order to make my hauppauge capture a certain channel with vd.
did you give AVI_IO a try already - maybe it will work

avi_io works perfectly for what i am trying to do except for the fact that the trial version only can capture a 4 gig file, but i think i am going to buy a program for once, ok thnks againLast edited by Glanz; 26 Jul 2003, 06:39 AM.Comment
