image upside down & fliped

i need to know how to fix my video... i was having gtreen screen problems and then i searched the forum and found a way to fix that.. by removing nimo.. but not when i try and convert my x-vids they are upside down and mirrored.. when i play them in windows media player they are fine its only when i load them into my encoder tat they do this.... Any suggestions?

in case you were using ffdshow as playbackfilter (which experienced users will advise you to do) you will be able to find the helpful option *flip video* under *miscellaneous*

i know this hun really i do.. i have searched the forum first and tryed taking care of without haveing to double post.. i really truely have... but its not working. you guys helped me to get to the encoding process and i love you for it i do.. lol .. but i have done everything that you guuys have suggested that i could inderstand.. i have the all the codecs and i have show installed as well.. i have the flip option.. its not during playback.. that is fine.. at least in wmp thats all i use anyway.. its during the encoding.. i still never got TMPEGnc to work so im using easyX video converter.. it has done everything fine with divx.. but i still have the same 2 files that i cnat get right.. they were green so i unintalled nimo.. and not they play great i just can convert them. Am i perhaps missing a codec that goes with show?

btw.. i have dsp2dshow, 3ivx d4 4.0.4, the regular lastest divx & xvid codec, ans divx antifreeze all installed.. along with the standard nero and adeptec codecs

If you have a file named "DIVXG400.EXE" installed on your system, remove it...

yeah rip i had that when i was trying to encode im sure you remeber that hole feasco.. but then i unisntalled it is it possible that perhaps.. it didnt uninstall all the way should i mabey try re-installing and then unintalling again???? i really hope that you can help me hun btw do you have any Experiance with EasyX video encoder.. cause that what i use now i never did figure out how to do it in TMPEGnc... thanks again hun

I wouldn't...

If you feel comfortable editing the Windows Registry:

1) Look for and delete any entries for "DIVXG400"

If there aren't any

2) Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Scrunch\WMVid eo\Vertical Flip Packed YUV, and then set the DWORD value of this registry key to 1
