Audio Problems

Using ac3tool for extracting audio from Star Wars Episode one i've got a little problem (or big maybe). In the first scenes, where there are the sliding words "episode one - the phantom menace... etc" english track and italian track are one over the other, ie: i select italian language but the music go in a "loop" and repeat itself in an interval of 2-3 seconds, and when i transform ac3 to wav it tells that there is a crc error.
What could i do?

use dvd2avi to extract the audio or vob2audio!
