Compress mpg files
Hi,
My problem is: I´m recording from Digital TV (SAT) and get mpg files. These files have differing rates and resolutions, depending on the station. For archiving mostly a higher compression with less quality would do fine and save disks to store them. I´m searching for a Software doing this job easyly. It would be fine if I could choose rates and resolution, and then get an mpg file, and not a ready SVCD etc. The program should be also error tolerant, because TV streams often have small errors. If the program is free, it would be best.
