I have a 1GB xvid movie, from which I need to cut the first and last 60 seconds, then chop the remaining chunk into 3 parts.
The problem is that the chunks aren't all of an equal length. For example, one is 35 minutes 2 seconds, the next is 32 minutes 16 seconds, etc. So I decided to use VirtualdubMOD.
I've tried to use VirtualdubMOD to cut the avi, but it isn't accurate enough. For example, if I want to start at frame 665 and end at frame 45044, I will mark these frames as start and end... but the output will probably be frame 550 to frame 45100. It means that the output will have a few seconds of unwanted video at both the beginning and end. However, it is no good. I need a clean cut. I've tried to take this output and cut it again, but the same thing happens.
I have also tried the splitter software from boilsoft, which was no good.
Is there any solution to this? Please advise.
thanks.
