Converting mpeg files to avi with Nandub???

Can someone give me advice or guides on what settings I should use to encode a large mpeg file to an avi one so it will fit on one 80min CD with Nandub?

simple (I am just beginning to use nandub, maybe UnCASMS can help)

    load the MPEG film

use the bitrate calc in nandub (video) and do a calc

then in the SBC settings, the bitrate should automatically be assigned, since u used the bitrate calc.

From this onwards, I don't really know but UnCasMS will.

But make sure the the audio is in full processing mode and the audio compression is MP3

make sure to use version 1.0 rc2!

can you open your mpeg(what?) file in nandub?

like tecno said, go to video => sbc options and specify your output size with the calculator

in the sbc settings i'd go for:

      - 350 minimum allowed bitrate
      - antishit: 16/20/20

      - curve modulation: 25

      - keyframes quality: min2/max4

      rest should be standard settings

In the bitrate calculator, do I select the get audio data from source option or should I put some number in, in which case what would that be?
Also, if this was an avi file, would I set the audio to full processing mode or can I do a direct stream copy? Thanks for the help.

My original avi file has a sampling rate of 24000Hz. So what number should I put in the calculator? Also if I set the audio to full processing mode, what settings should I have with the MPEG-Layer 3 compressor? Would I set it to 56kBit/s 24000Hz Stereo, 48kBit/s 24000Hz Stereo, 40kBit/s 24000Hz Stereo, or some other setting?

in the calc, put in 192 bitrate and in the audio full processing mode, choose mp3 44100Hz 192

I don't see 44100Hz under the mp3 setting. Are you sure?

check the "Show all formats" box or just re-install the redium codec. It should work.
