i'm still getting the same message after doing what u said, i knew about fixing it that way b4 but when i tried it 4 some reason it jus didn't work

Press printscreen, and a capture of your screen will be saved to the clipboard, then paste into the application of your choice.

You can download "codec packs", but I strongly recommend against this as loading too many codecs can often cause problems. It's generally better to identify the codec(s) that you require and get them individually.

To post an attachment, use the reply button below the last message in the thread (rather than just the quick reply box) then, just under the reply & options field is a place that says:
Indeed, the screenshot is there, but that's not the info we need!

However, if you can't open in TMPG there's a good chance that Virtualdub won't like the file either. If this is the case, download a program called GSPOT. You can get it here
