    How to add fade in/out effect in divx/xvid files

    Hi all, i am thinking about making a screensaver for personal use, that shows nice scenery (eg. tropical beaches, lakes, mountains, jungles, etc). I aim to make this screensaver from small clips that i will cut out of many of my divx/xvid movie backups, resize them, and then join them together into one long clip. Is there any way to "fade into black, then fade out" between the clips?

    thanks

          ==>> http://www.avisynth.org/ScriptExamples

          most conversion tools make use of avisynth thus you could use the avisynth fade in/out command
