well im a newbie to capping and its showing. i capped my first movie with iuvcr and got no sound. the audio is in pcm and the video divxv at 29.95 fps. is there a way to get the sound to play. any help would be kindly appreciated..thanks inadvance..

since pcm wave format should be supported by an internal windows codec, you might want to try something like gspot to check your file and see if gspots complains about any non-existing codec!?
of course loading the file into virtualdubMOD and taking a look at file => file information should show the same info

no audio
hi uncasms, ok well here the deal the audio showed up in gspot...have since deleted the file....i have tried other progies and the same thing happens in the progies. my soundmax audio card shows up in the audio slot instead of the aver media dvdez card, which support at avermedia says should be there. he suggest i redo my sys. i dont belief that is the issue(redoin) system as all my other applications work.. is there anything you or anyone can sugest to get the aver card to show up..thanks in advance for any help.Comment
