    Error report in Flaskmpeg

    I have a problem:

I try to encode dvd files on my hard disk (ifo en vob) to DivX with Flaskmpeg06 Preview. Till yesterday everything went allright, but from today, when I hit the button 'Flask', I suyddenly get the following message (in a small 'Avi-Plugin Error Window): "AVIFileOpen doesn't worked, VFW-Errorcode 80040154".

What is going on? I didn't change any parameters since yesterday, I used the same ripped DVD files on my harddisk.

You may have corrupted the AVI plug-in file. I'd suggest that you reinstall Flask.

flask has always been an inferior and buggy encoding tool.

try something more reliable and sophisticated like gordianknot or nandub.

if you want to stick to flask, copy this to a textfile, name it *.reg and run it:

What does that do? And how did you come up with such a long list of commands?

I have never proclaimed myself as God anyway. Somebody did that without my consent.

              hi guys,

of course I didnt come up with all those commands, nor am i eating or drinking divx (prefer a good wine or malt whisky ) - watching, well, sometimes

that list of commands can be found in a file called avifile.reg which is part of numerous packs.
