I followed up and just bought some DVD-R disks, tried it, and it worked, lol, I went through about 15 DVD+R disks before I happened to glance at the sticker on my standalone and noticed it said DVD-R video playback. ANd to think I was about to kick my DVD player in the face..lol. Thanks for al the help with TMPGenc and TMPGenc Author Columbo, it helped me out a lot.
