DVD rip software NEVER works...

Hi there.

OK, I do capturing, mastered it... So I thought it is time to start ripping DVD's....


I downloaded software like Ripitall, DVDx and some other software from divx-digest.com

But, they don't work.

It says things like, VOB files not found! But it is in the DVD drive!

What software is there that I can rip DVD's? Which one works?

HELP PLEASE!

why dont you try software most other ppl are using?

virtualdub, gordianknot, nandub

maybe xmpeg/flask

Smartripper or DVD Decrypter should do the ripping job just fine. If you post this thread in the Decrypting section (Ask a moderator to move this thread there), you should find plenty of answers, especialy from LightningUK himself.

Yes, I'm aware he was thinking of using a rip-pack. One that does the job in one swipe, but truly, that rarely ever gives good results. I prefer using a combination of softwares that work best at their department. And I'm pretty sure techno is aware very much of the existence of nandub, since he himself has been promoting the nandub +3.11/ms-mpeg4 v2 combo more often than I care to recall.
