Precise basically means that. Precise. However, in the case of bilinear, I would just go with the normal bilinear. It's much faster. If you are using bicubic resizing, you may consider using the precise method, as the result will be noticably sharper.
You do know the difference between bilinear resizing and bicubic, don't you?
