    well, I tried another way by not mounting the image file but by using Auto GK (Auto Gordian Knot). When I "explored" my dvd - I could see two folders Audio_TS and Video_TS where the later contained those *.IFO files that the AutoGK is looking for. I supplied AutoGK with an IFO file and it started transcoding the DVD to DivX. I patiently waited for about an hour or so but the size of the output never changed from 300 KB!!! I'monna keep that running overnight now, and see the result and let you guys know tomorrow.
