I tried posting this over on the software forum too but nobody reads that.
It crashes after 1st pass no matter what options I set, from what i can tell.
Im using Nandub release 1.01rc1, released last July (newest as far as I know) -- I've ripped/encoded over 100 dvds using nandub and the associated programs used in the SBC guide on Divx-Digest and never had a major problem (The One sound was a little off but fixable) This one wont touch a 2nd pass no matter what i do, it crashes after the 1st pass every single time. I can post the exact error i have here if anyone knows how to read nandubs error codes.
The options I have set are:
Filters of Cropping and Resize (606x384, precise bilinear) -- It doesnt matter it crashes this way with or without these filters.
VBR Mp3 audio from a mp3 made using Graphedit and Gogobatch.
Audio Interleaving of 500ms
No secondary stream of audio. (Someone tell me what a secondary stream is, please)
Usually I set the bitrate at around 900 but I've tried 1000 and also as low as 700 but nothing helps it.
The way I am doing it I take the entire DVD file and rip out 90% of it or so and leave just the one song I want to encode at a time. It ALSO crashes if I try to do the entire DVD at once as one long encode.
If I need to post more info please let me know Im going completely spare.
