no no no...I increased the res cause there was alot of macroblocks in a smaller res, when I increased the res, the bitrate was the same and the quality was much much much better, no blocks! I am surprised too. But it is understandable why when you are capturing, not DVD ripping!
PS - 4min of video = 11MB using fast motion and near DVD quality!! (music vid)
Well i reduced the res to 512*384 this helped get rid of them also it suited it cos the movie was 4:3.
So reducing the res helped alot (Uncas & Enchanter were right)
Also i used sharp bicubic.
So thats that problem solved. Phew!
Also i started another film, and done the compressibility check which was a 78.4% (lowest i could get it). But the w-zoom was in red cos the resolution was enlarged. Would this cause problems. Also i could get the compress check at 75% and no red, by reducing the bit rate?
What would yo think is the best idea? Dont worry about enlarging or reduce the bit rate?
no, no wrong film. It called the 'Bandits' with Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thorton. Its region 1.
The thing was it was my mistake (the disk was misleading). I ripped the wrong side of the disk. And by the time i realised i didnt have it anymore. Oh well. Dont worry it wasnt the best film in the world.
oh yeah i just all the film. They are known as the 'sleepover bandits' you were right but i was right in saying it was called the 'bandits'. So were both right
