When I try to export the time line in Premiere to an Indeo 5.1 avi, my Win XP AMD 1.7 GHZ system shuts down and restarts half way through the process. I don't think its a cooling problem. The cooling fans are working and the cooling fins are free of lint and dust.
I'm using 2 samsung 512 MB for a total of 1024 for memory. They are indenticle. I removed one and the shut downs stopped for 2 weeks, now its happening again. Could this be a bad CPU or a bad sector in the memory? I hoping that one of you has heard of this problem. Any suggestions?
