dv to divx
I am new to all this stuff and a little confused!!.
I have a new digital video camera & want to convert my movies to divx. I have been advised to save the movies in AVI in Adobe Premier 6 & then open them in virtual dub etc etc.
My problem is that when I try and open that AVI file in virtual dub I get the following error:
couldn't locate decompressor for format 'WRPR' (unknown)
VirtualDub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. Direct Show codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable
I am running WIN XP >> any ideas???.
