MPG movie files 2 vob converting

Hey,

i wonder if someone could tel me how to convert MPG file of aproxemitly 2,7GB to VOB files of 1GB including ifo and bup files, so i can burn a DVD with Nero Burning Rom.

Well pleaaasee help me.

I had the same question and the dir he pointed you too is only for ripping FROM dvd I too want to take an mpeg and write it to a video dvd not rip a dvd. Have you had any luck?

Sorry for you both, " I "found that SPRUCEUP dvd authoring is doing this job verry well.

Just author and ad an Mpg file in it and the program thus the rest for you.
Only yoy have to get used how the program works.
Its trail and error mainly

Vob to mpeg and vice versa

Hello there

Only the Input material is important for what you like to create !!

To encode/transcode Avi >>mpeg 1 and 2 you can use Tmgenc
www.pegasys-inc.com, its verry well known !!!

If you want to create a DVD without a dvd burner
(for short movies)
you can use Spruceup, its a authoring program that creates Vob out of Mpeg 2 Dvd compliant material.

For ripping a DVD, use smart ripper, who can do it all, and with subtitles if you need it.
