Sometimes subtitles dont work? Why?

Hi

HAs anyone else experienced problems with subtitles in the movie not showing up on playback? Im not actually trying to rip the subtitles as such, but for some movies when they speak in in foreign languages and subtitles come up on the screen, it sometimes decodes them into the divx file, but for others it wont...

Does anyone have any ideas??

ok bumping this back up....

Im ripping sum of all fears at the moment..... First rip, the subtitles wouldent come up when they are speaking in russian! Does anyone know why?

Some movies the subtitles appear while others dont? It seems that the subtitles are sort of added to the DvD, and not actually a part of it..... hmmmmm, i give up
